WHEN I CRY

When I remember at my birth
How I lay naked by my mum
I cried aloud to the Lord
And asked why I came to the world

Then I saw a breast in my mouth
I stopped my cry and sucked the breast
Then mummy slapped me on the cheek
Then I knew I bit her breast.

When mummy left home
My mistress was to care for me
But she took my doll and hid away
Then I cried and cried aloud.
