morocco tea history
Abbey prehistory by Berber populations, Morocco and its territory have known Phoenician, Carthaginian, Roman, vandal, Byzantine and Arab populations. It was in 788, during his exile, that Idris I, fleeing the persecutions of the caliphate of the Abbassids, gave birth to a state in the Maghreb al-Aqsa (extreme Maghreb) [1]. Since then, Morocco has always kept, if not an absolute independence, at least a very strong autonomy [2]. The attraction of wealth from trade from the South (the Sahara) to the North (the West) will attract the greed of various tribes with city crossroad Marrakech (the gate of the desert) which will naturally become the capital of various dynasties, in especially those coming from the South (Almoravides, Almohades, Saadiens); This is why the whole history of Morocco (Idrissids to Alawites) was marked by the trade of wealth from the South to the North. The history and origin of Morocco were, are and will be marked by the link with the Sahara [3].
