Dragonfly photography is truly a unique and enjoyable experience. Because they never sit still in one place, and even if they do sit for a while, they walk away when people see them. It is truly incredible that they can move from one place to another so quickly. A small, golden-blue or greenish dragonfly sitting on the pond or on the grass with its wings spread out is like a delicate ornament of nature. However, my photography today was of it sitting on a wire or nail attached to a wall. When the sunlight breaks through its transparent wings and spreads colorful glitter, the camera lens captures its wonderful beauty. Choosing the right moment for photography is important. Dragonflies usually sit quietly in the morning or afternoon, when it is easy to get the camera close. A light background—green grass, blue sky, or calm water reflection—brings the dragonfly into the center of the picture. Its long, slender body, delicate pair of wings, and bright eyes appear in the camera frame like an artist's painting. In such a picture, not just an insect, but the vast form of the small beauty of nature emerges. Every picture of the dragon fly teaches us that the beauty of nature is hidden most in small creatures. If we pay attention to our environment, most of the time we can see butterflies, dragon flies, spiders, and several insects that are very familiar and very close to us. In addition, there are other insects that are very few in number. So we can say that the dragon fly is the most popular in our Bangladesh.
