In Love with Fear

I am all things. An artist with many mediums, my life is a mosaic of color, light, wind, hemp, places, stories, and emotions. I flit like a furious wren from each expression, not mastering one before moving onto another. My unrest over the four years since I graduated college has taken me all over the west by foot, by bicycle, and by heart. I have been on a pilgrimage of self discovery, walking over 4,000 miles through the wilderness, bicycling 2,000, and experimenting with other alternative lifestyles. In the midst of it all there are still many aspects of myself I have yet to see, and so I continue my search through expression. My wandering has led me to a farm on an island 3,000 miles from any large landmass. Out here in the powerful trade winds that blow silently across the ocean until they are interrupted by this island, the wind washes through me. It's movement is powerful, forcing me to face myself in ways that I never have. It is within this place of not knowing that I thrive. My feet lead me to the places where I feel fear so that I can overcome it. When fear comes in, many think it says "halt!" I hear something different... "Go get it girl!"
