Portfolio Update
In an effort to become both a better Steemian and to also develop a better understanding of CryptoCurrency, I will now be publishing a weekly listing of my holdings and why I am a believer in them. My intent is to start a productive dialog where you can provide criticisms of my reasoning.
Holdings now include

SmartCash ($SMART) - Number 1 Pick (50 %)
- SmartRewards - Wallet addresses holding over a 1000 SmartCash receive a monthly reward for not withdrawing
- SmartNode - Affordable, Great ROI (even at close to 7k Nodes), will provide the backbone to InstantPay
- Community Involvement

Shield ($XSH) (20 %)
- Privacy Focused
- Working on enabling Lamport Signatures to theoretically make Shield quantum-proof
- Will be POS in near future

Steemit ($STEEM) (3%)
- I'm a huge fan of the platform and believe that the roadmap provides a bright future ahead with Smart Media Tokens

BridgeCoin ($BCO) (7%)
- Staking the coin provides users with 50% of fees earned on their DEx

LiteCoin/Bitcoin (BTC) (20 %)
- Adoption Rate
- Liquidity

My holdings are
SmartCash = 40%,
Bitcore = 20%
Steem = 2% found on this account
Komodo = 5%
POSW= 2%
Flash = 2%
Vivo = 3%
Verge =2%
Litecoin=20%
INSANE = 2%
DIGI = 2%.
All these coin i found SmarrCash is the most promissing and still young.

Yeah I just wished I pulled the trigger a lot earlier on some of my trades but I still got in at a great price I believe.

Since I like and use their exchange I should plan to hold some. I tend to keep the coins I mine so my holdings include: DASH and LTC (both very spendable)
MUE (just another X11 coin mined when I am not mining DASH. Verge (another scrypt coin mined when I am not mining LTC. 45% of my holdings at todays price is in smartcash and I plan to keep buying for a long time.

Staking the BCO really comes in handy and will only get better as better quality coins like Smartcash are added, since they pay stakers in the currency that was traded, and I'm also in the same boat as you with SmartCash, this will be my daughters present one day when she's older and I can't wait to see what @SmartCash turns into over the years
