Apollo’s Call (a poem)

Hey Steemians!
I’ve been on a posting break due to my schedule just having no free time. But hopefully it’s calmed down a bit.
So it’s no secret that I’m pagan, but my pantheon doesn’t really contain any of the Greek/Roman deities.
Apollo has decided that needs to change. So I guess we will see where this goes. Here’s a piece I wrote while under his influence.

##Apollo’s Call

Crackle, spark, ignite in me
Everything a fire can bring
Passion blooms
But blood boils too
I’ll take the scars
To make something new
Melt me down like candle wax
Shape me in to something new
Crackle, spark, ignite in me
Power that your fire brings.
I’m ready
It’s time
Let your fire bloom.
