The best way to launch a hive account is to write a post with the hashtag #introduceyourself . You might also include your country or region plus a tag for your primary areas of interest.

I find intriguing that you mentioned agriculture and nuclear energy in the same post. Often people interested in agriculture are dead set against anything nuclear.

It appears that you got a downvote on your first post. It looks like the account that downvoted you is upset because you mentioned nuclear energy in a post that used the hashtag WEED.

HIVE has a few culture warriors but not many.

The platform has a strong STEM community as well. Diversity of opinion is usually welcome on the platform.

Yes, I did that as an edging exercise. Big thing in agru is to solve the animal feed issue (if you are on team beef). Growing animal-feed inside is a solution. And it is the #weed community that has pulls most of the weight when it comes to indoor farming!

I am on team human. As part of team human, I have no interest in dictating what other people eat. I want people to be strong and healthy.

I am interested in Vitamin K2 which plays an important role in our immune system.

Vitamin K1 is found in green vegetables.

Vitamin K2 is a transformed vitamin K1.

It is often found in grass fed meats, eggs from free range (aka grass fed) chickens. It is also found in some whole milk products and a weird thing called Natto.

Anyway, people on a western diet are often deficient in K2. It seems to me that a good way to improve the immune system of people in the west would be to find ways to increase the amount of greens consumed by livestock.

People with western diets often have vitamin K2 deficiency.

This is not an area of expertise, but I think this is an area that deserves investigation. You might find K2 to be a good subject for HIVE posts.

BTW, I think it would make sense to feed cattle hemp. Again, this is not my area of expertise. It is green and probably high in K1.

I have not heard that before. But I keep hearing about hemp as this super plant!! Will def research it some more. Animal feed is a place that's gonna get a lot of innovation!! Is there any page here on Hive where hemp is talked about? I imagine hemp is just as easy to grow inside as #weed?

There are several communities on HIVE. Just look through the available communities page on HIVE.

One of the communities created an alternative interface to HIVE called WeedCash.network. WeedCash supplements your HIVE rewards with the WEED token. This token doubles your rewards. You can log into the site using your POST key.

Giving third party sites your post key is a very, very, very, very, very, very, very bad idea. A person who gets control of your post key can control your account. Ask @community321

The better path is to use HiveSigner or KeyChain.

KeyChain is newer and might displace HiveSigner.

KeyChain is a browser extension. This is KeyChain on Chrome Webstore. It also works on Brave. This is the link for Keychain on Firefox.

After installing Keychain, you need to set it up by giving it your posting key and active key. You can find these in the Keys and Permissions section of your HIVE Wallet. I had problems with the import keys program and found it easiest just to manually copy and paste my keys into the set up screen on the extension.

I would probably try KeyChain first. I use both.

Key Chain and HIVE Signer are the only sites that you to which you should give your keys.

After installing KeyChain, you can use it to log into Weed Cash, Leo Finance of the alternative sites for Hive. I made a list of Hive related sites

BTW, your downvote came from someone who thought you were spamming the WeedCash site. I would use that interface to ask questions specifically about hemp, but use the main interface for regular blogging.
