The pennys

This is a penny, named after pennywise the clown
It is an alien species
It is hybrid humanoid
It is a killer clown
It is a predator
It is a hunter of human children most especially, but any human meat will do.

They are, bounty hunters. Purveyors of specific meats.

They will carry with them two distinct tools
One is a metal collar, the other is a strange rope device, together we would recognize this as an ancient Egyptian shen ring.

But it is no ring, it will tie you in a way no magician could wriggle out of.

The clowns have a cluster, symbotic aliens that work alongside the clowns for mutual benefit.
They have specific hunting powers, such as telescopic sight and super sonic hearing.

They have to protect their skin from our sun and often wear coverings when they come here to hunt.

There is only one way to deal with alien penny killer clowns, like so many other alien species, you must remove its head.

This is fringe reality.
