Translating Byteball Bots To Arabic Part #1

Byteball is a decentralized system that provides tamper-proof storage of data, which includes currencies, property titles, debt, shares, and more.

Byteball is a new generation of DAG-based coins without blockchain and mining, with fast and non-volatile transactions that can be hidden or confirmed with the help of a third party. The platform was introduced in the middle of 2016. A key feature is the Airdrop - donation of icons to the current owners of bytes.

Byteball is completely trustless and doesn’t use proof of work or proof of stake systems since it isn’t
built on a blockchain.

In Byteball, transactions are not grouped into blocks they're connected directly instead Each new transaction references one or more previous transactions.

Translation Overview

This is my first Part.

2 days ago I started translating this project to the Arabic language, the Byteball Bots project has 2164 words need to be translated, I have done 437 words.

The Byteball Bots project has 4 files:

Sports betting bot (675 words).
Email attestation bot (703 words).
Username attestation bot (450 words).
WCG distribution bot (336 words).

I started with the 2nd (Email attestation bot) and the 3rd (Username attestation bot) files, and I translated just the long strings for this contribution.

The strings I translated today are about the Emailing message bot, some of them are about Email verification and some about attestation of address.

Languages

The main language of this project is English, and I'm translating this project into the Arabic language.

Word Count

The total number of words have been translated by me : 437 Words

Time Frame from 2018-10-17 To 2018-10-18.

While I really enjoyed the fact that you opted for a deep dive to focus on a small segment of the project. I would like, on the other hand, to point out a few things that I hope will help you in your future contributions.

I did a few reformulations that you can directly check on Crowdin to enhance the style of writing.
This issue is a bit critical and you can try to be more careful about it. You translated the word (Burger) as (برغر), but one of the project managers did indeed point that this is incorrect in 2 translated strings. Always have a look at the discussion that is going on about the specific string, you can find valuable information about the current string you want to translate. The intel about the word (Burger) is 5-month-old.

As for the translation, we can summarize all the suggestions that I made before for a member of our team, this will give you ideas that you can apply in your future contributions:⁽²⁾

Always provide the proper referencing for any materials you will use in your presentations (Text+Image...).

Give a fair amount of information about the project you are working on in the 'project description' section, because you are going to do it only one time (use the same) through all the project.

Always provide the proper information related to the word count.

The Translation Overview section is the core of your presentation, you can give her the most of your care.

Be original, no copy-paste, and always work on providing a more engaging post.

One could say that the above errors should not exist at all with such low word count. But I believe that if the above suggestions are taken into consideration, the overall quality and precision of the contribution and presentation will completely go forth towards something better.

Tip: Download the wallet, this will undeniably help you to find the proper context and meaning of the words/strings.
