The city of Aceh
The city of Aceh was the center of a great empire of the same name, which stretched into Thailand. Aceh was located the palace of the sultan. The sultans benefited from the city's natural harbor; when ships from different regions in the port at anchor, the sultan unscrewed the price of pepper, the main product of Aceh, considerably. From 1607 the company had a trade office in Aceh.
