Can't stand on my feet repeating my negative creed
Rumerating, culminating, giving life to a beast
Pushing onto others my monster of grief

Asking for advice and sucking them dry
Smiles scowl down when they hear me shrive
My words like bullets through their wings, they dive

From the sky free falling into abyss
Held captive in the chains of my crisis
Doomed ever flightless by the monster's anguish

I need them to fly and pull me out
Without their help I'll lose to self doubt
Trapped within, I want to bawl out
