IntroduceYourself - I'm on Steemit
Greetings everyone.
My account was finally approved. I know Steemit is taking its time to grow, but I was wondering if something got lost in the interwebs, lol. I'm happy to be here and to get the ball rolling. As my profile says, I have varied interest and career background. I used to work in IT as a network admin, then was a high school teacher, and now running a few businesses. I would like to get back into IT, so I have slowly started some retraining for Linux and trying to update my programming skills. I also like good food/wine, the beach, working out, travel, and love my bulldogs.

Welcome to Steemit. Some get approved in around 24 hours while others can take up to 2 weeks. Not really sure what there rhyme or rhythm is for such a difference in time frame.
