Awesome Pasta Sauce Recipe

There's nothing like a great pasta sauce to compliment your pasta after a long day at work. Check out this recipe below that I make on a consistent basis:

Ingredients
Serves: Makes 12 (1/2-cup) servings.
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 cup finely chopped onion
• 2 cans (28 ounces each) crushed tomatoes
• 2 tablespoon sugar
• 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
• 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
• 1/2 teaspoon Oregano Leaves
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon Black Ground Pepper

Directions
Prep time - 5 mins
Cook time- 30 mins

1. Heat oil in a large saucepot on medium heat. Add onion; cook and stir 5 minutes or until softened.
2. Stir in tomatoes and remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
