Prologue.

The room was dark, the hum of the city outside barely audible. Haera’s fingers trembled as she adjusted the camera, her eyes never leaving the screen. A sharp breath escaped her lips.
He thought he was untouchable. Jae….the flawless, untouchable Jae smiling, charming, adored by everyone. But Haera knew a secret. Or at least, she believed she did.
He had taken everything from her once….. her best friend. And though she had no proof, no witness, her gut screamed the truth. Jae was guilty.

Tonight, she would make him pay. She wouldn’t wait for the law or chance she would tear his life apart herself. Every piece of his perfect world, every moment of happiness he had with Aura, would crumble.
The screen flickered. Aura laughed, unaware. Jae’s eyes were soft on her, trust written in every line of his face.
Haera’s lips curved into a cruel smile.

They have no idea what’s coming.
