RECYCLING FABRIC SCRAPS FOR DIY SATIN RIBBON TO REPAIR DRESS HOLE

Hello Needleworker, its been a while here on #NeedleWorkMonday

Recently, I got a new dress, a jumpsuit to be precise and I am the kind of person that loves to wash new clothes before wearing them. So, I took my new jumpsuit to the laundry for cleaning

Sadly, it got burnt! My new dress got burnt at the laundry, it saddens my heart but the deed has been done already

So, today I decided to repair the hole since it is not a big one

I Picked out scrap of fusible interfacing for fabrics in my scrap bag, cut it into a round shape bigger than the hole on the cloth

Placed it on the wrong side of the dress and applied iron heat on it to glue it down

I picked out another scrap of satin fabric from my scrap bag and made two different satin ribbon but I used just one to cover up the patch, it came out nice

This time, I'm doing the washing and not sending it out...

Can't wait to rock my dress 🤗
