From ancient times ivory has been considered as an article of luxury because of its smooth and soft texture and shape. These carving on the ivory look very magnificent and is very tough task to be done, requiring a class skilled artist to do it. These carving are done by very sharp tools which are very strong. But now a days many machinery tools has came which has made job easy.

The above pic are of home shrine. The carving on it are so beautiful that one will be keep looking it. The fine shape carving on it is more attracting and is truly a piece of art.
