Fireflies...

It's a little after 6 pm,the darkness was making it mark and could be seen, as it casts its silhouette on the city. I had already closed from work, but the idea of going to join the heavy traffic made me reluctant about going home. I choose to stay a little longer till the traffic thinned out.

I step closer to the window, drinking in the spectacular view made of moving cars and the blend of colorful lights. Eyes closed and the wind in my face, I just smiled and said; thank God the day is over.

Just as I was observing this breathtaking view of beautiful multicolor lights, filling the night skies with rainbow of lights, it suddenly hit me; and I couldn't help but think about fireflies in the night skies🙂

As I knew I was not reporting to work the next day, I waited till the traffic thinned out. It was my cue to go home. I finally left the premises, all smiles🙂🙂🙂🙂.
