Human Right at Stake

Long before we knew human right as a basic right in the modern world, civilization never respect human as a subject but as an object.

After Crusader (Correct me if I am wrong) an intellectual proposed to a king that we should treat human as a creature that has dignity and should be respected. Hence, come the ideas of promoting human right to the world by the "preacher" by campaigning that human must be able to live, to have freedom, and to be protected from the oppresessor.

This concept was first proposes by a man who cannot read and write lived in vast and harsh desert environment. Some Islamophobic will close this post immediately after reading the Muhammad in this article without proceeding to read wholeheartedly. But, yes the man who give the world the ideas of human right is Muhammad.

For me Islam is not only for Muslim community but it applies to all humankind. Therefore, we need to relearn what Muhammad said about human right without contaminating the human right with some ideas that surpass the human limitations.
