Kathleen D. Vohs, PhD.

So did you know that there is a psychologist by the name of Kathleen D. Vohs an associate professor of marketing at the University of Minnesota, who some say has gotten her work classified. As in literally CLASSIFIED by the government, and you're not allowed to see it. Now what's her revolutionary study, I don´t know, cause it´s CLASSIFIED. Now I can´t tell you about her research because it is classified by the United States government, think just about that. However I can tell you about some other findings she's done, such as what the concept of money does, namely changing human behavior.

Her particular studies around money has shown that people who are primed with the idea of money, ask for help less frequently, give often less help to others, prefer to work or play alone, and put more physical space between themselves and others. So in other words if you want to be "self-sufficient" in our physical economy prime people with the idea of money, however if you want people to be collaborative or help each other then avoid the concept of money in its entirety. Pretty interesting findings? Considering humans are social animals, or one of our underlying concepts for human civilization is being collaborative. Yet our physical economical system is at its core, on a fundamental level the total antithesis of human civilization. Pretty interesting philosophy for you right there is it not? Quite a huge pitfall to avoid completely in this new digital economy!
