Spontaneous Rides!

Sometimes planning a trip is essential, especially if the trip is characterized by a long duration or a remote location. However, for many of us who live in a city and respond to a regular office job, going on a trip may seem really challenging and sometimes even impossible.

Fear not though!! Every day is a chance to embark on a mini-adventure! In this post I want to share a snippet of some of my usual spontaneous mini-adventures. At least once per week (after work on weekdays or on the weekend) I like to get on my motorcycle and drive off without a preset destination. Sometimes I follow the coast and other times I venture into the hills, but not having a place I need to get to allows me to be flexible with my route and encourages me to turn onto unkown roads. There's amazing places to be discovered everywhere! In my particular case, most of my rides are in the vicinity of the San Francisco Bay Area (where I reside). I will dive into the specifics of some of these trips in later posts and explore some riding and preparation tips so that you are always ready to grab the keys and go!
