Vacation
It has been a while since I have had a vacation, it seems that every time I wanted to take one something happened and I could not get away. Today I did manage to get on the road. My wife wanted to go to Fort Smith, AR so that is where we are headed. As everyone is going north for the eclipse, I'm going south to get away from all the people.
Took some pictures once we got into Arkansas which the northeastern area just south of the Missouri state line is my kind of country. I am not a city boy and if possible I could get lost in the woods!

I noticed I said northeast and it should have been northwest.
Looks nice hope you both are having a good time. I don't know if we will see the eclipse it is going to be mostly cloudy.
I think down here it is to be about 80%. Resting tonight and going out again tomorrow.
