Do you think you should upvote a question, if you like it and answer it ?

Do you think you should give an answer to the question, if you like it and answer it?
when someone asks a question why we don't answer if we really know someone's question. and if the question leads to us, which is no less exciting when there is a question we just sit quietly without holding it normally it happens when the teacher asks questions nobody answers.
