The Winding Road

Along this winding road I travel
Echos whisper songs of yesteryear
Songs of pain, songs of sorrow
Trapped in this realm of darkness
The most dangerous force I have ever known
Stalks my shadows and fleeting thoughts
Reflections of an impossible past
Show me that I am alone
Yet the danger cannot subside
This person cannot be stopped
This thing cannot be left behind
This place I cannot escape
