What does missing church entail??

So I decide not to go to church today, whilst the rest of the family did, as you may have guessed; why mother decided to give me grief about.

"Why won't you go to church?"
"Aren't you supposed to go and worship God today?"

At least that's what I thought she said cos I sort of tuned out during the whole thing. I can't stop asking myself, is not attending church a criteria towards becoming a bad person?

What the fuck(pardon my language) do christians seek to achieve when they guilt trip you into going to church on Sundays?

Imagine if I had gone to church today, would I actually have paid attention to the sermon?
Would my soul have been "converted" because in stepped into "holy ground"???
