23 days to 100k users - Introducing SteemTicker forecasting
Hello everyone! I want to introduce SteemTicker, a site I’m working on to provide simple forecasting tools for the steem community. The site is still very much in alpha, but the first concept is called ‘days to harvest,’ which calculates the # of days until steem reaches 100K users (or 100M if you are feeling very “to the moon” lately).

Note: ‘Days to harvest’ uses a simple exponential growth formula and recent network trends. 23 days could be spot on or way off if our growth rate materially changes :). Feel free to update the growth assumption to your liking.
Upcoming features
Some additional tools I plan to add to SteemTicker in the coming days:
(1) Earnings Potential - calculate your reward from curating or authoring content over time
(2) Word Bubble - see how often different words or phrases are being used on steem. May help generate some ideas for your next post
(3) Moonshot - estimate future market cap of steem based on fundamental or comparable company analysis
I’m also adding a simple UI for accessing the steem database and building your own forecasting tools, which I'm calling DIY.
Check out the concept page and let me know if you are interested. I think forecasting tools could be a valuable addition to the existing steem stats reports and tools, but I’m looking for community feedback..

Concept is Great! , The Website is even better!
Nice to see one more soon to be more useful tool for steemit as apparently it still does not have too much of functionality available, but looks promising. Nice work @algo :)

Thanks! Haha, yes several great steem analytics tools/reports out there already, but hopefully I can hit some new areas that aren't covered as well.
The upcoming features you have listed do sound interesting, so I'm eager to see them implemented.
Word Bubble - Very Good Idea
It will be able to sample not only in the Latin alphabet, but the Cyrillic?
This is very creative and useful.
