Shift better than FileCoin? IPFS 2017

For those of you that don't know what either of these platforms are imagine this. You have a computer right? Yes of course you do and most likely you have unused storage. Ok Ok I know you probaly run out of storage quite a bit but hey some of us don't have a 20 game steam library. But even if you were to have just a few Gigs left on your hard drive you could still make money. Yes, you heard me money $$. In a sense you can rent out your hard drive to people who need storage.

This is all thanks to IPFS a peer-to-peer protocol that aims to decentralize the web. This all sounds cool and all but it's not just limited to just a file system. It's more like a framework to build on top of. Basically anything you think of. So what FileCoin and Shift are doing is just building on top of IPFS. But which one is better?

For Developers(in my opinion) Shift is better. It comes with a ready to rock turing-complete blockchain wonderful integration of IPFS. It's really hard to just declare a winner and there really isn't but right now my eyes are on Shift and I can't wait to see what's to come.
