Fuse into one control
Galloping on, reaching, never reaching
Strings of fate pulled at, stayed
One event after another
Episode following episode
Disasters of epic proportions
Hooks placed in living flesh
Biting, blowing the wounds
Eyes stay blinded
By enormous but invisible scales
Like clock work
Doing but never gets done
Searching but understanding shielded
Running but never covering ground
Unto final, mandatory release
The big picture finally comprehended.

This is very similar to the book of Ecclesiastes. Solomon's wisdom made him realize that life is meaningless without Go's grace..
I like how you used the contrasting concepts and terminology to demonstrate the futility of the games we play in life. When I ponder such things, I tend to come to the conclusion that happiness is truly the only goal in life that matters. Thanks for sharing.
