Hello all steemians !!!! I'm Silvia, although you can call me Aivlis, a young student of Landscaping. I love nature since I was child and these years I have learned to live in harmony with her, I would love to share with you my thoughts about nature, tips and tricks ... to make your life easier in your garden or vegetable patch.

I'm going to talk a little about me. For 18 years I was living in Murcia, THE SPANISH GARDEN!!!! surrounded by lemon and orange trees. I grew up in a fruit store where from very small I picked the best melons and watermelons from the customers. Then the circumstances of life made me move to Leganés a city near the capital of Spain. There I tried to study pharmacy but I felt that this was not what I wanted to do ... until one day a phone call with my grandfather made me realize that the world of agriculture and gardening was mine.

Another great passion for me is writing, I often find it difficult to express myself, either because my hands are faster than my brain or because of shame but writing makes me communicate in a different way and that is why I came to this platform. I had a blog a long time ago but in the end I had to leave it aside but now I am determined to start over again and with more strength than ever !!!

Nice intro post! Also nice that you found your way into Nature via your grandfather - so much healthier than getting involved pharmacy I think LOL.

I think you'll find that the experience of blogging on the STEEM blockchain is probably very different to what you experienced a 'long time ago'. If you feel comfortable expressing yourself through writing, this is an excellent place to be :D.

I have been here since Jan 2018 and I occasionally look through the 'introduceyourself' tag to say 'welcome' and to offer some posts – written by other users – which may help you find your feet here. I do not respond to every intro post I read and I avoid those who seem to have come to serve themselves or play roles of expecting/demanding easy returns. The value of Steemit for me has been in creative self-expression and I would like to encourage those who present themselves (to my eye :) as having potential for original and engaging content which is not created primarily for profit. Thank you therefore, for presenting yourself as such to my perception. Welcome to Steemit!

There are many open and community-minded individuals and groups to be found here. You might not think this apparent if, for example, you look at the 'trending' pages for the more 'popular' topics and see that shit posts earn a lot of crypto. You may need to be patient and look deeper under the surface to find a beating heart. There is an exciting new paradigm ethos to these deeper undercurrents I am talking about (which are also some of the guiding principles of the STEEM blockchain). There is plenty of discussion around everything that goes on - it is 100% transparent and uncensored, as you may already know. I'd advise diving in and educating yourself – the process will flow, one link leads to another, you know how it goes. I was utterly buzzing all over the place during my first few weeks and months here, it was a very exciting experience. Here's a video I'd recommend watching, by someone with a lot of Steem Power (ie a lot of crypto in his account), who uses his 'wealth' in order to empower others, so that everybody wins, him included. This kind of new think - to my mind anyhow – is what this decentralised blockchain experiment is all about.

We are all early adopters! You are way ahead of the crowd simply by having created an account and made the effort to introduce yourself to the Steemit community.
