NASA using Bitcoin in space?

I posted this on a few older websites and received a great amount of comments and such, but, has there ever been a "Bitcoin" sent into space, and redeemed?

I think this would be absolutely amazing to have an astronaut, make the first off-of-earth Bitcoin transaction. It definitely would be a record, and then, imagine if NASA was able to send a transaction to Mars Rover Curiosity! The first planet to planet transaction!
