SolarCoin
There is one crypto currency among hundreds out there that is not much in limelight (no pun intended) in my opinion. Solar coin is a crypto currency that is awarded to person / organization who is generating electricity thru solar panels. You are awarded 1 solar coin for 1000 units (1 unit of electricity = 1kWH) of electricity generated.
This can be a great extra earning for some one who has already installed roof top solar panels. All you need to do is declare your equipment's nameplate rating and there is calculation to show you how much SLRs you can get awarded.
Currently SLR is valued at less than a dollar but it has potential to appreciate as more people get on board.
