Spoiled milk in a dirty corner
Clock red-blinking midnight
Yesterday's pajamas on
A sleepy head on my insensible lap
A crescent moon by the open window
Night owls cheerfully looking for prey
Radio playing a sweet Sheeran song
Night lights kept humbly dim
Television's on a steady static
Your slender fair arm clutching a beer
Cooled in a ten year old rusty fridge
Shared with the warmth of our love
Your drool, like a streak of stars
Your snore's my sweetest lullaby
I will close my eyes and think only of you
So I will dream no nightly terrors
So let's sleep in our heart's content
For tomorrow we'll be busy in love
'Tis always been my favorite day
You are always my favorite Friday
