Three Things I'm Afraid Of

This is my first entry for @tegoshei's 30-Day Blog Challenge. Since there are no strict rules regarding this challenge, I decided to start with topic number 5 - What Are You Afraid Of?

1. Climbing Ladders

I did not know this about myself until I had to change our AC filter a week ago. I had to climb a 3- rung ladder and on the 2nd rung, my knees were already shaking. I had to ask my housemate to change the filter instead! 😆

I'm fine with the step ladders though, those with the wide...steps, LOL!

2. My Best Friend's Dog

Special mention to this guy! His name is Arashi, though I call him Aryat, and he is my best friend @tegoshei's dog. He looks sweet, doesn't he? Wait till he barks at you.

I only get scared of dogs when they start barking at me, and Arashi always barks at me! It's not an " I'm excited to see you!" bark, it's a "Scram! Leave this place!" bark or at least that's how I interpret it 😅.

Every time I visit my best friend's house this little guy would always "greet" me at the gate. I have to wait for Daddy Jhun to grab Arashi before I can enter, haha! I thought Arashi knows I'm a cat lover so that's why he barks at me but turns out, he's like that to everybody else.

The last time I visited though, he did not bark as much so I let him sniff me. We were friends for a short time that day.

3. Taking Chances at Love

Oh boy...This would explain why I'm still single. I like the idea of getting married someday and having my own happily ever after but whenever a guy starts to show some interest in me, I panic! I do everything I can to avoid him even though I also like him. My thoughts always jump to conclusions like, "We probably won't last anyway, so why bother?".

I'm a hopeless romantic who's scared of relationships. The irony, right?
