The song was composed to give man the hope of having a considerable progress when man rely on God. There is nothing we can do by our strength.Our success is in proportionality to the faith and the trust that we have in God.
The lyrics of the song goes thus
Chorus: Trust in the lord, trust in the lord, trust in the lord. He will never fail you.
- Some trust in their strength, their strength can fail. Put your trust in God, you will never put to shame
- Put your trust in God and have faith in your God. When you put your trust in God, you will never regret.
