grounded
"The word "grounded" means to remain present in the present time, as opposed to "spacing out" or dissociation. You may have certain ways of staying present when things come up that remind you of the trauma or when you're dealing with past experiences. Trauma survivors have given plenty of advice on how to stay grounded.
