There are times,
When your highest highs
Will be so low
That you can feel the devil
tugging at your shirt
To drag you to hell
And you gasp for air
It's like when your head
Has been long under water
And you can't get to the surface
For a breath of fresh air
You just struggle to find a way
Or pray that someone will come and save you
It's like when you're driving 240km/hr
And you lose control of the steering
While the car somersaults
You just hold on to your breath
And guide your soul with your hands
Praying for the flashing light
That will save you from your gory plight
But because you never gave up hope
Here you are trudging another day
It's like when the war just ends
That peace that flashes in your heart
It comes with a voice that whispers aloud
Every man to his tent, for the war is over!
It comes with a smile that says
I live to tell my story
It is then you know
You have won
And whatever comes your way
You will win
