তুমি ফেলে দেওয়া ঠোট তুলে আবারও ঠোঁটে দাও।
ঝিরঝির করা এই বাবলা গাছ,
পড়ন্ত রোদ শোষা এই নদীর জল,
বউ কথা কও পাখির ডাকে ভিজে ওঠে চোখ ।
আরো কিছু আয়ু জমা ট্যাপের জলে,
সম্রাঙ্গীর বইয়ের পাতায়,
দিয়ার রিংটনে ।
এলাচের ঘ্রানে কিছু কথা উন্মাদ ,
জলবায়ুর ভিন্নতায় উদভ্রান্ত পদ্য কিছু ।
কিছু আয়ু এখনও বহন করি বলে,
কেটে গেলে ব্যথা পাই এখনও,
ধেয়ে আসে অনুচক্রিকার দল ।
নাহলে জন্মের মত এ অকাল মৃত্যুও হত সহজ ।'"**
