I thought I was the only one nuts enough to go there, lol. I was really excited when I broke the glass fish bowl and became a minnow, I cherished my upvote was worth a whole two cents after years of trying. I was content and happy that I could now go around giving everyone "my two cents worth" of opinion, lol. Sadly, I lost it in that last hardfork, and haven't quite gotten over it since.
For a long time, I thought no one needed my music. I studied, practicing a little every day. I don't have an expensive studio with a ton of equipment. All I have is a MIDI keyboard, a sound card (which I bought without telling my wife. I told her it was a birthday gift), headphones, and monitors.
And I'm looking for something to do with myself. I dream of writing music for games.

STOPI think music of every type is needed by someone... The trick is that person finding your stuff, whether on Hive, Bandcamp, Beatport, Spotify, or wherever. But, the more places you are, the higher the odds! I recently stumbled across an album on Bandcamp that was released in 2018, but I'm just now learning about the group (because "so many musicians/groups, so little time..."). They were happy someone downloaded their album after so many years and sent me a "Thank You" note in email. So, there can be long-lasting benefits of flooding the market in many places; maybe Hive will help get you there! 🙂
Love your cartoon up there in the post! 😁
Thank you for your words. They are encouraging. I was on Spotify, researching what's popular now, and came to the conclusion that I won't be able to write "very popular music," but I really believe that my music will find its listeners.
@alchemy-project...
Oh, good point! I like hearing the stories behind the songs! 🙂
Hello. Thank you for your kind words and your appreciation. I plan to introduce myself and tell you more about my work. Yes, I may have gone a bit overboard by linking to NinaProtocol. But mistakes are made to gain valuable experience. So, stay tuned.
@alchemy-project...
An intriguing offer. I'm already on my way to Discord to "create a new account."
Well, it's done. I posted on Discord and told you a little about myself. You'll learn more about creativity and my reasons for pursuing it very soon.
