About Aglet

By encouraging physical movement in the form of steps, Aglet incentivizes its users to earn in-game currency where they can then purchase virtual sneakers to get the best shoe shelf. Each shoe has a different Aglet rate, and they also have durability, meaning when they wear out, you need to buy more. But while the goal of the game at the moment is to digitally complete a sneaker collection, it has a much broader vision.

Aglet is evolving its platform to be the first location-based trading platform hosted on a gaming forum. Players not only collect virtual shoes, but through their efforts and physical activity, they can win real, physical shoes.

There are currently two different worlds: online and offline or digital and physical. No one has put them together really convincingly for consumers. Everything Aglet does is aimed at exploring and creating experiences at the intersection of this convergence. Aglet believes that people no longer live online or offline, they live their lives.
