Give me back my hands

A family had bought a new car, 0 km. beautiful, look where you look, the upholstery, the color ... everything. The father loved that car, their effort was there.
They left him, his wife and their little boy of only 3 years old; arriving at a service station the parents get off and leave the child in the car, closing the doors ... the child, found a marker and began to write in all that upholstery, with great enthusiasm and love, as children do your things in this condition.

After a while the parents arrive and seeing the painting, the father started to light up in fury and seeing his "beautiful upholstery" all grated, he began to hit the child in his hands and hit him with great force ... until they had to get the child out of his blows, the child was in very bad condition had to take him hospitalized.

The telephone rings at the family's home and the father attends ... they were called from the hospital, it was necessary for them to appear, things had become complicated ... The father introduced himself and notified him that the child's hands had to be amputated, that there was no other possible option.

Entering the father to the room wrapped in tears ... the boy says smiling ... Hello dad ... I learned the lesson ... I will not do more daddy ... but please give me back my little hands !! The father left that room and committed suicide ...

Why do we give such importance to material things to the extent of hurting our loved ones?
