Datum Network - The Decentralized Data Marketplace

Right now data is owned by private organizations such as google, facebook, amazon, and other large corporations, and is stored in server farms that may or may not be secure. Datum will shift the control to the data owner using the DAT token which will enable data storage and sharing on a decentralized network. Individuals will be able to monetize their data and all sharing will be paid for using the DAT tokens. This concept could lead to providing a universal basic income to all individuals willing to share their valuable data. If google wants to use your data, google should pay you for your data.
