Why Ethereum is just getting going

The magic of Ethereum is the ability to use of smart contracts combined with the Internet of Things. People will be using the Ethereum blockchain and more importantly Ether without realising it. This use of Ethereum is not hypothetical, it is happening right now. In Germany people are using Ether to pay for charging their electric cars, but they don't realise it! They think they are just using Euros (fiat currency) to pay for their power - which they are, the Euros are converted behind the scenes to Ether.
