Monomad - Tanna (cicada)

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge

These past few days I haven't had time to hunt insects due to some busy schedules and less than ideal health conditions, and today I'm back to hunting macro objects in locations where I usually find insects, even though today I didn't manage to find some insects there, at least I was entertained by an insect that is very famous for its chirping.

"Dede Khueng" is the term generally used by the people of Aceh, Indonesia, for insects in the Cicadidae family. "Khueng" in Acehnese means dry season, so when this insect makes a sound, people here believe that the change of seasons will soon come. In fact, scientifically, the loud sound of Cicadinae is an attempt by male insects to attract the attention of females. And some photos of this Tanna(cicada) I have uploaded below.
