Sprinkled With Love

Laughter could be heard echoing through the house, as the night wore on it became a boogie wonderland. For my birthday party, we turned back the clocks to the 1970s and transformed the patio into a disco! I was surrounded by people whom I love and cherish.

What birthday party is complete without a cake? This was no ordinary birthday cake. Everything handmade from top to bottom, a close friend spent two days crafting this masterpiece.

• A honey and lemon cake
  • Honey harvested from her own beehives
• Ten berry coulis
• Blackberry buttercream frosting
• Topped with fresh raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries
• Sprinkled with lovely hand rolled chocolate truffles.

Luckily I was able to snap a picture before it was devoured!
