I bear witness

*As I lay here in the middle Of an empty field of roses Alone, staring at the sky, A tear of sorrow leaves my eye*

There are memories in it
There's something of us
Everything that remained
There's love

Even in death, stronger than hate
Even in time, longer than forever

I bear witness to the pain
I am part of it, as I'll forever be
I caused and I endured
I know, love, so have you

I wrote this thinking of loneliness and how lonely each of us is, how sadness can take over a life and never let it be the same. And at the same time, the way love shall outlive everything, the way it won't turn to hate, not when it's been more important than life itself.

Thank you for reading.

As always, have a great day,
