The Core Of It All

As children many of us casually socialize to become better acquainted with the social aspect of the world. We learn things like sharing,and self-control.As we get older we realize that some of us weren’t taught other foundational skills before academic focus such as confidence, independence, boundaries,empathy, communication as well as the importance of curiosity. This can be the result of various cultural norms. If not learned through out our childhood this can be so detrimental to our choices in regards to our adult relationships that can affect our happiness and stability.
What we allow in our lives is based on our inner beliefs which comes from what we are taught about life and ourselves. Too many of us suffer at the hands of these incorrect foundational beliefs. Allowing our value to be diminished in our eyes by others who perceive us as in adequate. This sometimes shakes our weak foundation(core )and results in us being unable to find our purpose. Our personal path becomes cloudy because we have built various coping mechanisms that have also blocked our view of knowing ourselves and unfortunately affirms our negative inner voice about ourselves that often times leaves us feeling hopeless.
As we approach adulthood it is important that we come to terms with the tools we lost along the way. Take back the power we’ve given to our families and bad encounters that has shaped who we are today. We know, that this is important because blaming for rest of our lives will not suffice, if growth is what we seek for our bright tomorrow. During this process it’s important to learn compassion for ourselves and learning ways to begin healing from our inner environment to our surroundings. As well as how to protect our outer sphere by creating a space of love and healing around us that protects us as we become who we’re meant to be. As we prepare ourselves for the opportunity, what our purpose is will show up when we are ready to receive it.
I’m hoping this account will be a great support for myself and others going through the journey of self development as well as those who may be open to knowledge and new beginnings. As I learn and explore the field of wisdom I’d like to share my findings with you and hopefully create a space of shared knowledge among us. I’m so excited to see what we may unfold together as we build daily on ourselves and this community.
