Internet giant Google finally confirmed that it became one of the many investors who stood behind the phenomenal startup, Go-Jek. At the same time stop the various speculations that previously spread.
Caesar Sengupta, VP of Google's Next Billion Users Team in a blog post titled Investing in Indonesia, said "This investment enables us to work with the best local companies in the growing startup ecosystem in Indonesia, including reinforcing our commitment to the digital economy at Indonesia.

In its official announcement, Google said that the investment step to startup is also one of their business strategy in order to support the growth of digital economy, especially in Indonesia.
