Gridcoin Wallet Backup
Newb question here: what is the best way to backup a gridcoin wallet? I know Coinbase and the like make it easy for bigger currencies, but I like GRC so much because of what it stands for. Have to learn how to make this work without training wheels! Thanks in advance.

Just copy the wallet.dat and the gridcoinresearch.conf to a 'backup place'.
In Windows you will find these files in 'C:/Users/YourUsername/%appdata%/Roaming/GridcoinResearch'
and on linux in '~/.GridcoinResearch'

In GridCoin wallet on Windows -> File -> Backup Wallet/Config and choose a backup location. Easy as...

Isn't it best practice to backup the .dat and .conf files using the built in wallet function (File --> Backup wallet/config)?
Somewhere I remember hearing that copying the files while the wallet client is running might mess something up. Not sure though.
