Bodensee Lake trip

Bodensee Lake you can find on the northern border of the Alps, near the border between Germany, Austria and Switzerland. They say with its size, 539 square kilometers it is the third largest lake in the inner land in the Middle of Europe and 18 km of the shores of this lake belongs to Germany, exactly to Bavaria. Around the lake you can visit large town as Nonnenhorn, Wasserburg and Lindau with its typical burghers´houses. The Bodensee Lake is also an optimal place for walking tours in the mountains around near Allgau and into neighbor Brengen forest or into Appenzellerland in Switzerland. I would simply say it is a realy good place when you want to make some walking trip in the nature.

I recommend you firstly to go to Lindau, leave your car there and ca 40 minutes walk around the lake. It shows you many views within this lovely place. As the most interesting part from this trip was an old lighthouse in a harbor. When you want to see Lindau town from different perspective I suggest you go by car to Hard where you can see amazing scenery of Alps, river Rhine and part of the lake again. The path leads along the watter all the time. Recommendable especially for photographers.
