Introducing Myself

I am @allie.cat. I like arts and crafts. I like making things, I like doing awesome stuff, I like meeting crows with my dad and I like swimming in my pool and hanging out with my sister @lucy.goose.
I was born in Maryland but now I live in North Carolina. I liked living out in the country in Maryland because we had lots of trees and we had lots of wildlife around us and cows across the street - but I like North Carolina because we have really cool crows and we have a beach and we have a lot of friends around us!
I am excited to be on Hive because I want to share my artwork with all the people on Hive, and I think it’s gonna be a cool thing. Right now I am really excited to share my artwork and creations, thoughts and ideas so that I can look back at them later on. My dad is helping me get started and I’m excited to build memories here on Hive.

Hahaha yessir, this is my oldest! I made accounts for both of them recently. Figured I’d keep it hush hush and just sort of collect some memories for them until they’re old enough to take the keys and express themselves through art and writing - but @allie.cat figured it out last night so I helped her write an introduction post…I’m still going to manage it for her for a while, but figure she’s excited about it so I might as well let her choose what memories to share here and what words to put with them. Hopefully this will get her onboarded and ready to run on her own in 8 years or so 🤣
Thank you! I will be starting slow as my dad teaches me how to find my way around - but last night I had a lot of fun scrolling and seeing other people’s work!

Hahaha nice yeah I’ve got an account for my son set up and dropped a bunch of hive into it but I leave it alone for now and just power it up. It’s good to get them aware of these things!
That was my plan man, yeah just let it grow until they’re older - somehow it got slightly derailed lol but it’s been fun to see her excitement. Today she worked on a crow drawing for an engagement initiative I’m working on behind the scenes 😁
…I’m hitting up Hive artists in the comments and commissioning crow drawings which at some point will be shared in a collection post to bring attention to cool artists on hive in a fun crow-ey way

Amen man, for sure! Particularly when I look back on how mcsamm has made a meaningful and lasting impact on the world through Hive, I absolutely want the kids to have a place here in the future. I think they’ll take what’s been started here and multiply it into something that will blow our minds entirely…that is, if we raise them right and support them in achieving their goals :)
