they walked together, in the moonlight.

she felt his distance grow the moment she told him the truth.
they were soul mates
and never would end up together.

time never allowed them to feel emotionally on the same page.
time laughed in their hearts, explaining their time would never come.

until space allowed this energy to be close.
they found each other in a different life, finding each other quicker than most soulmates.
one was younger and the other was a few years older.

but they knew through dragged memories of centuries,
that this was their soulmate.
and this time, it was going to work.
